The State Theatre is a half-seated, half-standing venue. If you would like to sit for the show, there is a balcony with theatre-style seats (first-come, first-served), and there are dining tables on the main level (some of which may be reserved).
The rest of the venue is standing room, with open areas in front of the stage as well as room around the 4 bars and behind the dining tables. The only way to have a guaranteed seat is to make a dinner
reservation.
